Made at sunset on a chilly evening, from two brown paper bags full of paper towel rolls, cut into thirds, then painted with an old sponge brush, inside and out.
My hand ached after cutting all of the fringe with scissors, but it was fun nonetheless, and I got lost in the process of snip, snip, snipping each little shredded paper piece.
This time they’re stapled together instead of glued: much more stable and less messy, although I do miss the clothespin element a bit.

This is quite wonderful. I’ve tried to something similar with the plastic Keurig coffee pods, but they won’t curl nicely. One of these days I’ll figure out something to do with those pods.

Thanks, PostMuse. Please let me know if you come up with a reuse idea for those Keurig pods; I’d love to see what you create. I actually didn’t know about them, but after searching around, it seems like a lot of people are in search of a good way to reuse them. Looking forward to participating in Mailart 365!
